Echuca Moama Community Enterprise (EMCE) - Small Community Grants Program
The Echuca Moama Community Enterprise (EMCE) is a community, not-for-profit incorporated organisation, established by a committee of Echuca Moama business professionals, community organisations, Council representatives and individuals, who see an opportunity to help make community projects happen in Echuca Moama.
EMCE, in partnership with Bendigo Bank (Echuca branch) and the Bendigo Community Telco, is generating income to be distributed throughout the greater Echuca Moama community, via its Community Grants Program.
What will be Funded?
The EMCE vision is to provide funding to local not-for-profit groups and organisations within Echuca Moama and surrounds to undertake projects that support identified needs within our community, which are socially, economically and environmentally responsible.
Projects supported by the EMCE must:
- Provide clear benefits to the community
- Be not-for-profit
- Be locally driven
- Support identified needs within our community
- Be socially, economically and environmentall responsible
- Adhere to the funding program guidelines
- Be located within Echuca Moama and surrounds
- Be completed within 12 months of receiving funding notification
There will be two (2) funding rounds per year. A total of $10,000 is available in Round 2, 2009. The maximum grant amount which can be requested in Round 2, 2009 is $3,000. It is expected that as the EMCE grows, the maximum grant amount will increase significantly.

All applicants must complete an Application Form and confine the information to the space provided. To assist you in your application, please download a copy of the EMCE Guidelines and Application Form from below.
Round 2 Applications close on 13 November 2009 and applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of December 2009.
