2010 Australia Day Celebrations - Call for Nominations
Notice is hereby given that Murray Shire Council's 2010 Australia Day Celebrations will be held at the Mathoura and Visitor Business Centre lawns, Cobb Highway, Mathoura on Tuesday 26 January 2010, commencing at 7:45am with a big breakfast, entertainment and children's activities.
The official Australia Day ceremony and presentation of awards will begin at approximately 8:45am.
Nominations are now being sought for the following award catergories:
- 2009 Citizen of the Year
- 2009 Young Citizen of the Year
- 2009 Sportsperson of the Year
- 2009 Young Sportsperson of the Year
- 2009 Junior Sportsperson of the Year
- 2009 Community Event of the Year
- 2009 Arts/Cultural Award (Person or Group)
Nomination forms can be obtained from Council's Head Office at Mathoura, or Branch Office at Moama. Alternatively, you can download the Nomination Form from the download files box below.
Nominations close at 4:00pm on Friday 11 December 2009.
