Why Should We Recycle & What Can Be Recycled?

Last modified: November 19, 2009 - 10:45 PM

We'll generate less waste and reduce the amount of rubbish in landfill if we make 'wastewise' choices, and that's good for the environment.

With the recycling bins, being 'wastewise' is easy - all your recyclables go in the one bin with no sorting required. The Murray Shire is playing its part in protecting our environment - aiming to increase the amount of recyclables collected. Increased recycling will lead to a sustainable future. By reducing, reusing and recycling we save resources and cut the cost of manufacturing.
