Murray Shire Council is recognised as one of the fastest growing Local Government Areas (LGA) in NSW.
For the last 15 years, the Council area has consistently been recognised as one of the Fastest Growing LGAs in NSW in the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Regional Population Growth publications.
The March 2015 ABS Estimated Residential Population for LGAs, showed Murray Shire having a population to 7,466.
