Murray Shire Council seeks to support the community by developing and providing a range of community services and programs that meet the identified needs of the community.

Access to community, cultural and recreation services and facilities have a direct effect on the quality of life afforded to residents and visitors of the Murray Shire.

Council is committed to ensuring that the Shire remains an attractive and healthy place to live, as well as fostering and marketing a wide range of services and facilities to meet the social, recreation, educational, cultural and entertainment needs of the residents of and visitors to the Shire.

Council would like to encourage community groups to register their group on Council's Community Directory. This entitles each group to easily publish information about their organisation to a 1 page summary, plus the ability to add events to their page. Simply contact Council's Executive Assistant, Mrs Kerri Keogh, on 03 5884 3302 and a Community Directory proforma will be sent out to you.
