Publication Guide

Murray Shire Council's Publication Guide describes the structure and functions of Council, how functions affect the public and how the public can participate in Council's policy development.

Additionally, the Publication Guide identifies the various kinds of government information held by Council which is routinely published by Council, is publicly available and free of charge, and specifies the manner in which the information can be accessed by members of the public. In most cases, this information is available online and can be accessed directly from Council's website.

Council may make changes and amendments to its Publication Guide at any time. The Publication Guide must be updated on a regular basis - minimum every 12 months. Council must notify the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) to approve any changes before amending its Publication Guide.
