In accordance with the provisions of Sections 402 and 405 of the Local Government Act 1993, Murray Shire Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday 18 June 2013, adopted the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) for 2013/14 to 2022/23; and a Delivery Program 2013-2017, incorporating the Operational Plan for 2013/14.
The Delivery Program 2013-2017 is intended to set the direction of Council for the next four (4) years so that the community's needs and expectations are met in a planned, coordinated and cost effective manner.
The CSP, Delivery Program and Operational Plan include the following:
- A rating structure for the year 2013/14, effective from 1 July 2013;
- A full list of fees and charges to be charged by Council for the 2013/14 year;
- A detailed statement of the proposed Estimates of Income and Expenditure for the 2013/14 year, together with a statement of the proposed Budgets for the years 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17; and
- A 10 Year Financial Plan.
The CSP is presented in three (3) parts:
