In accordance with the provisions of Sections 402 and 405 of the Local Government Act 1993, Murray Shire Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday 23 June 2015, adopted the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) for 2015/16 to 2024/25; and a Delivery Program 2012-2016, incorporating the Operational Plan for 2015/16.
The Delivery Program 2012-2016 is intended to set the direction of Council over the four (4) year period, so that the community's needs and expectations are met in a planned, coordinated and cost effective manner.
The CSP, Delivery Program and Operational Plan include the following:
- A rating structure for the year 2015/16, effective from 1 July 2015;
- A full list of fees and charges to be charged by Council for the 2015/16 year;
- A detailed statement of the proposed Estimates of Income and Expenditure for the 2015/16 year, together with a statement of the proposed Budgets for the years 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19; and
- A 10 Year Financial Plan.
The CSP is presented in three (3) parts:
