Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for up to $3 million of funding for priority infrastructure and services projects within the new Murray River Council area.
Time is running out for community organisations wanting to apply for Murray River Council’s Stronger Communities Fund, Community Grants Program, which closes on Friday 26 August.
Murray River Council is asking residents to provide their feedback to help develop a new visual identity that embodies the unique environment and culture of the region.
The Murray River Council’s $48.48 million Budget for the 2016/2017 year was formally adopted on 19 July.

A Public Information Session to discuss the Draft Moama Recreation Reserve (MRR) Master Plan is being held Wednesday 13 July 2016, commencing at 7:00pm at the Moama Sports Club, Perricoota Road.
Residents are invited to have their say on the Murray River Council’s Draft Operational Plan and Budget for 2016/17 at community consultation sessions announced at Council’s first ordinary meeting, held 28 June 2016.
Murray River Council residents are invited to attend the Council’s first Local Representative Committee (LRC) meetings, on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 July.
Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli has welcomed Murray River Council’s successful application to the NSW Government Landfill Consolidation and Environmental Improvements Program for funding of $225,000 to help reduce the amount of waste going to the local waste facilities.
