New Infrastructure Funding Now Available Through the Community Building Partnership Program

Member for Murray, Adrian Piccoli has announced that applications for funding through the 2016 Community Building Partnership program are now open.

The NSW Government is again committing funds to new infrastructure-based projects that meet a need in the local community.

At the Extraordinary Meeting of the Murray River Council today, Administrator Shaw announced the make up of two Local Representation Committees (LRC), whose task it will be to provide advice to him on local views and issues during the merge transition process.

$10M FOR MURRAY RIVER COUNCIL COMMUNITIES

The Stronger Communities Fund has been established by the NSW Government so recently merged councils can kick-start community projects. Murray River Council will be provided with $10 million to spend on priority community initiatives.

The funding is to be delivered through two programs:
